IOC olympic country code - Country Codes
IOC olympic country codes are three-letter country codes that are used to refer to a country’s athletes that are participating in the Olympic Games. These codes are assigned by The International Olympic Committee (IOC).
There are some differences between IOC olympic codes and other three-letter country codes such as ISO 3166-1 Alpha-3. In addition to representing individual countries, these codes have sometimes been used to identify teams composed of athletes from multiple nations and athletes not formally representing any nation.
